Raised in Shawville, Quebec, Benjamin Woodman has extensive experience in federal politics, having held a number of senior roles in the federal Ministry, including in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada. He was the Conservative Party of Canada candidate for Pontiac, QC in the 2015 Federal election.
In 2013 he was awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for his work in the Veteran community.
He is a Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, and was named Recruit of the Year by his home unit upon joining.
Benjamin holds a B.A. in Political Science from Concordia University and is studying towards a Masters of Public Administration degree at the Royal Military College of Canada.
